Plastic products are molded by heating by injection molding machines. The finished plastic products are generally more beautiful and enjoyable. However, plastic products often produce exhaust gas during the production process, which is quite disgusting.
The harm of the injection molding machine exhaust
It is understood that the injection molding machine will produce some organic waste gas during the process of heating and molding plastic products. These exhaust gas components mainly include non-methane total hydrocarbons and dust particles.
Non-methane total hydrocarbons refer to all volatile hydrocarbons other than methane. This kind of chemical substance has a direct harm to the human body, which will damage the central nervous system of the human body, causing diseases such as memory loss, fatigue, and headache. In addition, when this substance is exposed to sunlight, it also produces a photochemical smog that has a certain impact on the environment. Similarly, dust particles have a greater hazard to the human body and are prone to respiratory diseases.
Injection molding machine exhaust gas treatment method
Considering that the injection molding machine has certain harm to the human body and the environment, China's environmental protection department has long strictly regulated the non-methane total hydrocarbon emission concentration in the injection molding exhaust gas, which needs to be treated, and the concentration is up to the standard before being discharged. Therefore, waste gas treatment is particularly important in the production process of injection molding machines.
At present, most of the large injection molding machine factories are equipped with a gas collecting hood and an activated carbon adsorption device on the top of the plastic machine, and then the gas collecting hood and the activated carbon adsorption device are organically connected and integrated.
When the injection molding machine starts production, the gas collecting hood will quickly absorb the exhaust gas generated by the injection molding machine, and then the exhaust gas will be completely transported into the activated carbon adsorption device by means of the pipeline, and the larger dust particles in the exhaust gas will fall to the bottom of the activated carbon adsorption device. The hazardous gas containing non-methane total hydrocarbons will enter the activated carbon filter layer and be strongly adsorbed by activated carbon.
From the above, we can recognize that although the injection molding machine will produce harmful exhaust gas during the production process, as long as the collector cover and the activated carbon adsorption device are installed, it is very easy to solve this big hazard problem.
